Camping in Brittany
An authentic French camping experience
Nestled in the north west of France, the coastal region of Brittany is enduringly popular with campers. It has a distinctly Celtic feel, with a well documented history dating back to 600BC when the Gauls first arrived in the region.
Since then, the landscape of Brittany has been shaped by the imprints of its changing rulers. The Celts left behind a fascinating legacy of stone monuments, monoliths and altars, the best examples of which can be seen at Carnac.
But Brittany is perhaps best known for its coastline - over 2,860km of cliffs, beaches and seaside villages to explore. If you’re a seafood lover or a seeker of watersports, fishing or sailing - then this is the place for your next camping holiday.
Brittany is within easy access of the UK and Ireland and offers great camping holidays with a difference. We offer an elevated campsite in Brittany - Camping Le Panoramic - with stunning coastal views.
What to do on your Brittany camping trip?
Sea and Surf
With its Atlantic coastline, Brittany’s coastal towns and villages have developed strong seafaring traditions. Brittany’s rugged coastline is at its most spectacular between Pointe du Raz and Perros-Guirec, where high tides create waves of up to 30 metres, making the area popular with surfers, windsurfers and daring campers.
Along the north coast of Brittany, known as the Emerald Coast, towering cliffs give way to a more relaxed landscape of flat sandy beaches. As the coastline becomes more accessible and inviting, the number of campsites in Brittany increases.
Food in the region is characterised by Brittany’s strong links with the sea and menus are often packed with the area’s famous Atlantic oysters and mussels. Campers who favour seafood often head to Vannes and the nearby coastal towns of Saint Brevin les Pins and St. Michel-Chef-Chef to sample shellfish fresh from the sea.
Unusually for France, Brittany is not a cheese producing region, but instead is famous for its salted butter and scrumpy cider. Locals will tell visitors that they have not experienced true Brittany until they have tried delicious Galettes (savoury pancakes) or au beurre sale (salted caramels). For the authentic Brittany camping experience, these are a must.
The attractions of the Brittany region are its outstanding natural beauty, rich history and picturesque seaside towns. For families looking to go camping in Brittany, the region offers an inviting combination of evocative landscapes and family-friendly attractions such as Le Mont St Michel and the famous Oceanopolis marine complex and aquarium at Brest.
With easy access via St Malo and Roscoff ferry ports and Dinard, Lorient and Nantes airports, a camping holiday in Brittany is within everyone’s reach.

The best way to experience Brittany?
For mobile home holidays in Brittany, we think there’s nowhere better than Le Panoramic - our stunning campsite.
And whilst Brittany offers holiday-goers a variety of options for their stay, we think that our ‘cottage style’ static mobile homes provide the best available balance. All the comforts of home and the mod cons you would expect (and more besides), without the expense of a holiday cottage.
Whether you’re a veteran of many static mobile-home holidays in Brittany or a first-timer, you’ll be welcome at Le Panoramic.

The holiday park was brilliant
“I just wanted to drop you a quick note to thank you for helping us during our recent holiday to Le Panoramic. We had to call the office during our outward journey as we’d been delayed and the gentleman we spoke to was so helpful… A really special thanks to him for contacting Madam Jacq on our behalf! The holiday park was brilliant, the facilities are well maintained and Madam Jacq and her team were very friendly and welcoming. The Crozon peninsular where the holiday park is located is stunning beautiful and the children had endless amounts of fun on the numerous beaches. I cannot praise highly enough the outstanding customer service we received, both before and during our holiday from the EuroResorts team. Thank you all once again.”
Fantastic Family Holiday
“This was our second time at La Garangeoire. The Campsite itself was super safe, completely chilled out and immaculately clean. We were delighted to see Sue & Richard still there. They are so helpful and a real pleasure to deal with. Nothing is too much trouble for them. There is plenty for the kids to do day and evening and every where on the site is safe for the kids of all ages. We really had such a fantastic time and would highly recommend La Garangeoire.”
Best family holiday ever
“I must say, we had the best family holiday ever. It was our first time going on a Family Camping holiday, and I’m highly recommending it to all my friends. I found EuroResorts extremely friendly & very helpful to work with. We had all the information needed before we went, directions to campsite were very clear. The campsite La Torre del Sol was very clean. I was highly impressed with the high level of maintenance of the grass & grounds. The staff at reception & in all the restaurants / bars couldn’t have been more kind & helpful. The mobile home was very clean & neat. I felt very secure & safe on the premises. We are quiet eager to book our campsite for next year & would love to travel with EuroResorts again!”
